Since founding Swell Spaces in 2011, Hannah has designed a number of creative offices for Startups in the Bay Area and has more recently taken on residential projects. She enjoys the challenges of bringing beauty, functionality, and character into all her work.

While studying at the San Francisco Art Institute, she discovered Installation art, and became fascinated with the idea of using space as a medium. Through constructing conceptual spaces, and curating shows for art galleries in San Francisco, she developed her appreciation for the functional aspects of design.

Hannah’s experience as an installation artist and curator have provided the foundations for her unique design concepts. For her, Swell Spaces embodies the perfect symmetry of spatial function and conceptual creativity.
